An established company with an incredible track-record spanning 30-years, MSP continually invests and stocks the latest technology in all specialised areas from PA systems to video conferencing , and offers a comprehensive 24-hour service.

The company was formed in South Africa in the early 90’s by Colin Reader who later joined forces with Lisa Richards who owned an Event Management company based in Johannesburg. Together they played a pivotal role in the corporate development of many high profile events including the first TecEd Conference for Microsoft, Network 21 meetings in Southern Africa and Asia and supported Nelson Mandela’s Aids foundation.

During these times Colin and Lisa worked with many key business leaders and media companies providing technical equipment and event management services for financial seminars, business forums and product launches. They were privileged to work with Nelson Mandela on a number of occasions, Cyril Ramaphosa, Tokyo Sexwale, Desmond Tutu, Tito Mboweni and on many key accounts such as - Anglo American, Volkswagen, Renault, First National Bank, Southern Life, Bristol Myers-Squibb, M-Net, South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) and the Reserve Bank. On the event management side Lisa help launch monthly projects consisting of, business breakfast meetings with guest speakers such as F.W. De Klerk the predecessor to Nelson Mandela – for over 700 delegates to a Woman’s Forum and financial seminars/workshops with top international presenters and key local business players.

In 2000 Colin opened MSP in the UK and relocated to the North West. It was an ideal time to pass on to local companies and students all of the specialist knowledge and experience that had been gained from working on an international platform.

Today MSP is a thriving family business operating from their own building - 18,000sqft of warehouse and office space - providing an extensive product range and technical expertise. In addition the company provides an in-house studio facility for pre-production and demonstration allowing clients to plan shows in private with the help of qualified production managers. A full editing suite is available, housing the Avid Adrenaline system and broadcast quality, mobile production facilities for local and international events. Our world-class specialist broadcast and television rental and services equipment is backed by highly proficient camera engineers and round-the-clock technical support. The company provides coverage for transmission, recording and screen feeds to the staging and live events industry including the corporate and television production sectors.

Over the years the company has built up an incredible database of contacts and been successful in winning contracts with many corporate companies and venues including, The Arena & Convention Centre Liverpool, Convention Centre Dublin, Qatar Convention Centre and GDS International.

MSP is committed to employing and training local people into the conference and events industry and continues to work closely with the Liverpool Community College and LIPA developing apprenticeship training courses.
